Account Manager

TIM, an Acuris company, is looking to hire an Account Manager in New York to service existing sell side clients, prospect new sell sides & manage existing buy sides.

This is an exciting role for an energetic and driven Account Management candidate to expand accounts and generate new business while servicing both quantitative & fundamental buy sides. 

You will be responsible for:

● A book of renewable business and new business outreach
● Negotiating renewals and new business commercials
● Encouraging engagement and successful adoption of the TIM system
● Regular client visits in North America
● Sourcing new leads from existing accounts, and working with other team members to ensure those
   leads are converted
● Liaising with the global account management teams for program roll outs and user engagement
● Liaising with the Product team on interface improvements
● Active management of the CRM system


● Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 3-5 years of sales/account management experience (preferably in the financial services industry)
● Excellent oral and written communication skills
● Demonstrated interest in financial markets
● Strong team skills
● An organised individual comfortable using CRM systems
● Intermediate/advanced excel skills

Desirable skills include:

● Previous experience in financial software products, on demand analytics and portfolio   
   management solutions
● Familiarity with the interactions between equity brokers and their clients
● Solid knowledge of finance especially desirable is knowledge of equity      
● Familiar with market data, portfolio management or similar systems
● Interest or experience with analytics/database tools (e.g. VBA/SQL/Python) 
   is a plus
